Our Meeting does not have an endowment, and we only rarely receive bequests. Past bequests have been placed in NYQM’s Combined Trusts, from which we receive an income disbursement annually, in the realm of $3,000. We received one such bequest this year, from Martha Ross Leigh, a portion of the remainder of a trust used to support her daughter, Martha Elizabeth Gregg, in the amount of $27,895.33. In combination with a prior accumulated surplus of the Meeting, in the amount of $7,805.94, the Meeting adopted a proposal to use that bequest and prior surplus to fund a special supplemental one-time budget package, for items not in our annual budget. We have been accepting proposals for the Meeting to consider at the December meeting.
